The Senate passed a resolution Thursday calling on the U.S. to apologize officially for the enslavement and segregation of millions of blacks and to acknowledge ``the fundamental injustice, brutality, and inhumanity of slavery and Jim Crow laws.''

No one in the present day Congress had anything to do with slavery and why should present-day people pay for something they had nothing to do with that happened before they were born to people they didn't know? I don't get it. But obviously, SOME black people seem to be stuck in a serious time warp! ROTFLMAO!!! I admit I don't know alot about this "reparations" movement but it doesn't make any sense and it sounds like a con to me. Come on people, lets move on, eyes front, we should all be worrying about today and focusing on the future instead of the past. Only Democrats would come up with this BS!
