Iran says 150,000 missiles pointed at Israel

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said that Iran has up to 150,000 missiles pointed at Israel, according to the semi-official Iranian FARS news agency. According to the report, Vahidi questioned threats against the Islamic Republic from the Jewish State, asking "How many missiles have they prepared themselves for? 10,000? 20,000? 50,000? 100,000, 150,000 or more?" Developments over the last 24 hours suggest that Israel could be forced to go it alone in launching a military assault on Iran’s nuclear facilities, with the United States and NATO backing away from becoming involved in a conflict that would spark economic and geopolitical turmoil.

In 'universal' flu shot push, medical industry admits current flu shots are useless

The medical community is in the process of unveiling a "universal" influenza vaccine that it claims will prevent all flu strains with a single jab. The only problem is that, in the process, the system has inadvertently admitted that current flu shots are medically useless because they fail to target the correct flu strain in many cases, and they do not stimulate a natural flu-fighting immune response even when the strain is a match.

A recent report by CBS 11 News in Dallas / Fort Worth explains that researchers from the University of Texas (UT) Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas have identified a compound they say spurs the growth of a key protein known as REDD-1, which prevents cells from becoming infected. By injecting this compound into patients, REDD-1 will increase, say the researchers, and thus effectively prevent any strain of flu from taking hold.

But what about current flu vaccines? Dr. Beatrice Fontoura, one of the head researchers involved with the new universal flu shot, explained to CBS 11 that it works differently than current flu shots because it "stimulates our own (immune) response which is already there and boost[s] it to fight an infection."

In other words, flu shots being sold today at pharmacies across the country do not actually promote natural immunity at all, which begs an important question. If current flu shots do not boost the immune response, then what, exactly, are they good for?

Christian preacher arrested for saying homosexuality is a sin

Dale McAlpine was charged with causing “harassment, alarm or distress” after a homosexual police community support officer (PCSO) overheard him reciting a number of “sins” referred to in the Bible, including blasphemy, drunkenness and same sex relationships.

The 42-year-old Baptist, who has preached Christianity in Workington, Cumbria for years, said he did not mention homosexuality while delivering a sermon from the top of a stepladder, but admitted telling a passing shopper that he believed it went against the word of God.

Police officers are alleging that he made the remark in a voice loud enough to be overheard by others and have charged him with using abusive or insulting language, contrary to the Public Order Act.

Animal rights group rescues 800 dogs from China meat trade

Nearly 800 dogs were rescued by a Chinese animal protection group last Saturday night in the city of Zigong, in southwest Sichuan province.

The Qiming Center, an animal-rights protection group in Sichuan, pulled off the rescue. Last Friday night, a volunteer tipped off the group that hundreds of caged dogs were being loaded onto trucks in Zigong and headed to various restaurants in Southern Guangxi province. The group dispatched a team of five to block the dog-trader while they posted microblogs online calling for help from animal-loving citizens.

Violent crackdown on Occupy protesters in Oakland, California

Police violently attacked hundreds of demonstrators in Oakland, California Tuesday evening, one day after clearing out the Occupy Oakland encampment, with several injuries reported. Protesters attempted to retake the plaza, which they have dubbed Oscar Grant Park (Ogawa Plaza).

Decked in riot gear, hundreds of police fired volleys of tear gas canisters and used bean bag guns and flash grenades against the unarmed protesters, who numbered in the thousands. Children, the elderly and disabled were among those trapped in the teargas clouds. Police helicopters patrolled overhead. (Some videos of the police violence were available. A reporter from the East Bay Express, an independent weekly newspaper, tweeted at about 7:45 p.m local time, “Tear gas fired into crowd… People on the ground with head wounds near 15[th Street].” There were reports of at least one demonstrator critically injured.

The violent crackdown is being carried out under the orders of Democratic Party Mayor Jean Quan. Quan is one of a number of Democrats who are overseeing the escalation of repressive measures against occupy demonstrators. The actions in Oakland come a couple days after Democratic Mayor Rahm Emanuel, the former White House Chief of Staff for Obama, ordered the arrest of 150 demonstrators in Chicago.

Police actions were also underway Tuesday evening in Atlanta, Georgia; Orlando, Florida; and Cleveland, Ohio. Police began surrounding the Atlanta encampment at around 11:00 p.m. local time, then moved in to clear the park and arrest those remaining.

Pennsylvania state capital goes bankrupt

The capital city of the Keystone State has run out of money. Lawmakers in Harrisburg, PA today voted to file for municipal bankruptcy protection as the state capital of Pennsylvania has accumulated hundreds of millions of dollars in debt.
The Harrisburg council narrowly voted 4-3 today to file for bankruptcy, a decision that both attorneys and residents warned against.

“This was a last resort,” Mark D. Schwartz, lawyer for the city council, tells Bloomberg. “They’re at their wits’ end.”

While some attorneys are questioning if the file adheres to legal loopholes set in place to avoid Harrisburg from going bankrupt, others say that in the meantime it will keep the city temporarily afloat while the legalities are examines. To Reuters, Schwartz says the move will try to give the city “bargaining power” with Harrisburg’s slew of creditors and the state itself. That is, of course, if the filing is approved.

"From our perspective, it is an illegal action," said Kelli Roberts, a spokeswoman for Gov. Tom Corbett, adding that the governor's general counsel was evaluating options for a response. "It won't stand."

A new state law requires cities to seek state approval to file for bankruptcy; the decision today out of Harrisburg resulted from a council board’s consensus. In a joint email issued to Bloomberg from county commissioners, they say the vote is “nothing more than a delay tactic to avoid making the tough decisions necessary to resolve the city’s debt crisis.”

With a failed garbage-to-energy conversion program putting the city $300 million in debt — piled upon tons more of financial troubles caused by a crumbling economy — a desperate measure was expected to come out of the south-central PA hub for some time. Christopher Ryon, a portfolio manager at Thornburg Investment Management, tells The Wall Street Journal, "This has been one of the slowest moving train wrecks in my memory.”

A bankruptcy, however, was considered by many to be an improper route to revitalize the city. An ABC affiliate in the capital city said that only 13 percent of the citizens in town were in favor of a bankruptcy filing; nearly a quarter of the city, on the other hand, said that state intervention was the route to take — over half of the city said that the local government should try to come up with a compromise themselves.

Three of the seven council members voted against the bankruptcy, too. Representative Patty Kim was one of the trio, and she tells Bloomberg it didn’t make sense to vote in favor of the filing.

“We still don’t have money, and we still haven’t moved one foot forward,” says Kim.

Obama: Iran 'Will Pay a Price' for Assassination Plot

President Barack Obama said today that Iran will "pay a price" through sanctions and international pressure for its recent hostile behavior including the alleged Iran-directed plot to assassinate the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the U.S. in Washington, D.C.

Echoing previous statements by top U.S. officials, Obama said that when dealing with Iran, "We don't take any options off the table," but did not make any mention of possible military action in favor of pushing harsh economic sanctions and corralling international condemnation of Iran's alleged action.

"We're going to continue... to mobilize the international community to make sure that Iran is further and further isolated and pays a price for this kind of behavior," Obama said.

Obama declined to comment on whether he believed the highest levels of the Iranian government were aware or involved in the alleged plot, but said even if the Iranian president or supreme leader did not have "detailed operational knowledge, there has to be accountability with respect to anybody in the Iranian government engaging in this kind of activity."

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder announced Tuesday the DEA and FBI had disrupted a plot "conceived, sponsored and... directed from Iran" to murder the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the U.S. in or outside a crowded Washington, D.C. restaurant which potentially would have been followed up by bombings of the Saudi Arabian and Israeli embassies. The U.S. said an Iranian-American, 56-year-old Manssor Arbabsiar of Corpus Christi, Texas, was working for elements of the Iranian government -- specifically Iran's elite military unit the Quds force -- when he attempted to hire hitmen from the feared Zetas Mexican drug cartel to carry out the hit, but Arbabsiar was unwittingly speaking to a DEA informant from the start.

US issues terror alert after Iran plot exposed

WASHINGTON (AP) — The State Department is warning Americans around the world of the potential for terrorist attacks against U.S. interests following the exposure of an alleged Iranian plot to assassinate Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the United States.

In a new worldwide travel alert issued late Tuesday, the department said the foiled scheme could be a sign that Iran has adopted a "more aggressive focus" on terrorist activity. It said Iranian-sponsored attacks could include strikes in the United States, where the alleged plot against the Saudi envoy was supposed to have taken place, as well as other countries.
"The Department of State alerts U.S. citizens of the potential for anti-U.S. actions following the disruption of a plot, linked to Iran, to commit a significant terrorist act in the United States," it said in the warning that expires on Jan. 11, 2012.

"The U.S. government assesses that this Iranian-backed plan to assassinate the Saudi ambassador may indicate a more aggressive focus by the Iranian government on terrorist activity against diplomats from certain countries, to include possible attacks in the United States," the alert said.
Earlier Tuesday, the Justice Department announced the indictment of two men, including an Iranian-born U.S. citizen, for conspiring with a purported Mexican drug cartel to kill the Saudi ambassador on U.S. soil.

White House: Secret panel can order Americans assassinated

In comments made through the media on Wednesday, a number of top Obama Administration officials, including White House spokesman Tommy Vietor, confirmed that there is a "secret panel" which exists now that can order American citizens assassinated with no judicial oversight.

Vietor declined to give any information related to the process of how the panel decides who lives and who dies, but officials say as far as they know, cleric Anwar Awlaki was the only American they have ordered executed yet.

The only thing officials would say about the assassination process was that the president's death panel was a "subset" of the National Security Council and that there is no existing legislation governing its operation.

The notion of a supreme panel of life and death, which operates outside of the law, is making a number of Americans uneasy and has raised concerns that the president could move beyond religious leaders to target members of the media critical of his policies. Russia will need to speed up the development of its nuclear strike capabilities if the United States does not convince Moscow its missile defense system isn't aimed at Russia, President Dmitry Medvedev said Wednesday.

Medvedev is not persuaded by American assurances that the proposed Europe-based system is not aimed at Russia, he said in a rare news conference.
"There are no other countries apart from Russia which have those capabilities, and they will not have them in the years to come," he said.

If Washington moves forward with its missile defense system, it could also prompt Russia to scrap a key arms limitation treaty, he added. "If missile defense systems are to be developed -- which would mean the disruption of strategic parity -- the treaty could be suspended or even terminated," he said, referring to the New START accord for which President Barack Obama has pressed hard.

Medvedev said Russia was willing to see the development of a European missile defense shield if it "complies with clear rules."

"We are ready to cooperate, and at the same time, we hope that we get assurances that these capabilities are not directed at us," he said. The Russian president also praised a thaw in relations with NATO, saying Moscow and the alliance's relations were "not bad," and "developing normally."

This is talking about how YHWH will make our situation so BAD for us that no matter what we do (as a whole), we will become a failure. If you look around, you'll notice that the so-called "Jews" (white people also), Arabs, Asians, and East Indians can easily become successful wherever they go, but wherever OUR people are, we are *extremely* low, and it's almost next to impossible for us to come out of our low state (unless YHWH has mercy on one of us). This is talking about how they hung/lynched and burned OUR ancestors back in slavery (and sometimes today). The word "emerods" is talking about *hemorrhoids*, which is an itching or painful mass of dilated veins in swollen anal tissue. Now even though anybody can get *hemorrhoids*, I don't know ANY other people with problems (in mass) such as this except for the so-called "African Americans" (Hebrews)!

28The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:

This is talking about how our people become fearful and sad whenever things happen to us. Our people are so *angry* (and rightfully so) because of the oppression that we have done, even though we don't know why we go through the things we do. "Astonishment of heart" means that our people will become extremely depressed, and that we would be *bugged* out of our minds, doing wickedness of all kinds.

29And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.

Israel, this basically backs up what I had said earlier, in regards to how we are the *only* people in the world (as a whole) who can't seem to get ahead and whatnot. This explains why THE MOST HIGH put us in slavery, to serve our enemies (Whites, Arabs, Asians, etc.)! In regard to "hunger and thirst", this means that we will have to go to them to eat, drink, and to get the *necessities* of life. We have to buy from "their" stores in "want of all things" (toilet paper too, true but jokingly). If you want something, in some way fashion or form, we would have to serve our enemies, even if we work for or "own" a "black-owned" business. Also, in regards to "nakedness", this is talking about clothes and what we want to wear, so this basically means that we have to go to our enemies (ALL the other nations) if we want to have practically *anything*!

In regards to "yoke of iron", all you have to do is look at the pictures of us with a "yoke of iron" around our ancestor's necks. In regards to "until he have destroyed thee", this is talking about how they destroyed us from being the *greatest* nation on Earth, and making us as low as we are today. It also is talking about how they *destroyed* our heritage from our minds, with all the propaganda and lies that they put forth. When we got over here to the Americas, we *knew* who we were, but the white man (Esau/Edom) beat, whipped, raped, and killed our *true* ancestry out of us and gave us "Christianity", and if you don't believe it, 2 Timothy 2:15 applies!

This is talking about how AmeriKKKa, which is "as swift as the EAGLE", gathered us from the land that we fled to once we left Jerusalem (Africa), and put us into slavery in all the other continents (besides Antarctica…duh)! Not only AmeriKKKa, but the French, the Germans, the Dutch, the Spanish, the Portuguese and every other country also, including the Africans (Hamites) and Arabs (Ishmaelites)!

This is talking about how when our ancestors fled from Jerusalem (70 A.D.) and went into Africa, some of them became so starved that they began to kill and eat the FLESH of their own *children*! Once AmeriKKKa goes into martial law and everything else under the sun, this will be happening again!

We already know about AIDS/HIV, High Blood Pressure, Hemorrhoids, Diabetes, Cancer, etc…That's what these scriptures are mainly dealing with! Also, since we will NOT follow the dietary laws (and other laws) that the "church" says is "done away with" (another lesson), we end up dying from all the toxins, poisons, and uncleanness that these foods contain!

62And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God.

"Few in number" means that we will be a *minority* wherever we are, and that ONLY applies to us, just like ALL of the other curses!

63And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Wherever you go to find our people, you will see lights, cameras, police, and all other kinds of madness to *oppress* us! "Plucked from off the land" is talking about how we will lose our homes, land, and everything else (as a whole) wherever we go! This certainly happened in slavery times (if you know the history), and our people are losing their homes NOW due to foreclosures and mortgage problems! Not only that, they will charge OUR people a higher "premium" than they will the White, Arab, or Asian neighborhoods! They do this because they KNOW that our people are so poor and oppressed that we will NOT (again…as a whole) be able to afford living wherever we choose to reside, and thus we get evicted.

Do the *research* on the "Transatlantic Slave Trade" and see what you find! We are the ONLY people in HISTORY to have been *scattered* (forcibly to) to EVERY land and continent on the face of the EARTH! Now tell me, do you still "believe" that you "might" be an Israelite, or do you *know*???

This is a BAD situation to live in unfortunately, but MOST of our peoples are living JUST as the BIBLE describes! For instance, if it's Sunday we want it to be Friday, and if it's Friday we want it to be Monday! Isn't that *craziness*!? Worse than that, because we are really *poor*, we wish EVERY day was "payday" because we have little money before and after we pay our bills! "Egypt" (Mizraim or Kemet) is a Greek word that means "bondage/house of bondage". The 1st time we were in slavery we walked into that land, because Egypt is a walking-distance from our home in Israel. In regards to "with ships", this is talking about the cargo slave ships that they used to transport us to ALL lands, and primarily America.

In regards to "see it no more again", this is talking about us not seeing ISRAEL again. Originally, in 70 A.D., the Romans (Edomites/Whites) kicked us out of Jerusalem and burned down our temple, and then we fled into the West Coasts of Africa, but that's another lesson. Rum and other alcoholic beverages played a crucial role in the African slave trade. English slave trader John Atkins (cited in Craton, Walvin, and Wright 1976:28) described the specific demands at different trading regions, but believed alcohol was "everywhere called for." African historian Lynn Pan (1975:7) argued that the only exception to the alcohol-for-slaves model was in the northern stretches of the slave trade where Islam was strongly entrenched. Yet, even in Muslim controlled areas, alcohol use and the alcohol trade were strong. For example, in the early sixteenth century, Portuguese traveler Valentim Fernandes (1506-1510:16-18) described the availability of numerous types of locally made wine in the Senegal region, including wine made from honey, grains, and palm sap. According to Fernandes, the Wolofs, a partially Muslim group from the Senegal region, "are drunkards who derive great pleasure from our wine."

Much of the alcohol introduced into the African trades entered in the context of gift giving. European slave traders were expected to provide alcoholic beverages to all those involved in the securing slaves. Slave trader William Bosman's guidelines for the Dutch West India Company included regulations that the ship's captain make daily presentations of brandy to the King and the principal traders (cited in Postma 1990:365). The Dutch may have been to blame for what many traders considered a "disagreeable and burdensome custom." According to slave trader John Barbot,

Their design at first was only to draw off the Blacks from trading with Portugueses; but those having once found the sweet, could never be broke of it, tho' the Portugueses were actually expelled from all the places of trade they had been possessed of on the coast; but it became an inviolable custom for all Europeans. (Barbot 1746:260)

Dashee, dassy, and bizy became standard terms along the African coasts for gifts of alcohol dispensed prior to trading (Atkins 1735 cited in Craton, Walvin, and Wright 1976:32; Barbot 1746:142; Rodney 1970:180). According to Atkins (1735 cited in Craton, Walvin, and Wright 1976:32) the African trader "never cares to treat with dry Lips." Bosman (1705:404) reported that the Africans at Whydah were great lovers of strong liquors, who expected their dassy, and "he that intends to Trade here, must humour them herein, or he shall not get one Tooth [elephant tusk]." Gift giving, which often involved elaborate rules, was implemented to appease state leaders and integrate even peripheral African social groups into the Atlantic trade (Thornton 1992:66-67).

Rum and other alcoholic beverages also entered Africa as part of larger trading packages. David Eltis and Lawrence Jennings (1988:948) estimated that in the decade of the 1680s, alcohol represented 12.5% of West African imports and that, a century later, alcohol represented 9.7% (Table #1). This ancillary use of alcohol is evident among all major slave trading nations. In the 1720s, brandy was reported to be one of the principal commodities imported by the French at the slave trading port at Whydah and documents of the Dutch Middelburgsche Commercie Compagnie show that more than 10 percent of trading packages consisted of alcoholic beverages (Saugera 1995:247; Law 1991:202; Postma 1990:104). By the late eighteenth century, slave traders from New England and Brazil were each annually exporting about 300,000 gallons of rum to West and West Central Africa (Pan 1975:8; Williams 1944:80; McCusker 1989:492-497; Curto 1996).

The modern western perception of alcohol as a profane fluid has often been evoked to amplify the insidiousness of European slave trading. According to Cuban historian Fernando Ortiz (1947:25), rum "was always the cargo for the slaver's return trip, for with it slaves were bought, local chieftains bribed, and the African tribes corrupted and weakened." Historian Eric Williams wrote,

Rum was an essential part of the cargo of the slave ship, particularly the colonial American slave ship. No slave trader could afford to dispense with a cargo of rum. It was profitable to spread the taste for liquor on the coast. The Negro dealers were plied with it, were induced to drink till they lost their reason, and then the bargain was struck. (Williams 1944:78)

Modern attitudes about the vulgarity of alcoholic beverages have helped magnify the evils of the slave trade. But the reality of rum's part in the trade is more mundane than the images so passionately depicted. West and West Central Africans were familiar with the potentially disastrous effects of excessive alcohol use prior to European intervention, which precluded the type of social devastation that accompanied the alcohol trade to Native Americans in North America.

Please read the following with open eyes. While the
general information is true, the author takes great leaps (see title) to form possibly incorrect conclusions.

Natural disasters hammering countries mentioned below are correct and many are ongoing. Besides impacting lives, homes and infrastructure another disaster casualty is massive crop loss.

What I take issue with in this article is the leading premise that Presidents Nicolas Sarkozy and Obama met solely to discuss probable food riots and that Obama has ordered our military to prepare for same.

Information from the Financial Times indicates that the meeting
primarily focused on reforming the international monetary system. Nowhere in the FT article is food mentioned.

However, an APF article indicates that the pair would discuss soaring food prices and again, stabilizing world currency. The main aim was to lessen the US dollar's central role in the global economy and give greater weight to rising economies - specifically China, India, Brazil and Russia according to the NY Times.

Anther discussion point was the Middle East mess, but nowhere in these two articles is food riots mentioned - or even 'food' for that matter. They were to hash over commodities in general, which does include food. So, food riots appear to be a tangential discussion, not a central one.

Over the past decade US relations with France have severely
deteriorated from the once cozy state when they gifted us with the Statue of Liberty. It appears that with Obama's statement "We don't have a stronger friend and a stronger ally than Nicolas Sarkozy and the French people" he is making strides toward repairing relations.

Another facet of their meeting was a discussion of global economic imbalances. Understandably, the "have nots" want what the "haves" enjoy and discussion along these lines is yet another attempt to hustle along the New
World Order. Let's level the playing field, make the world one large pot of brown instead of colors and ethnicities of distinction as God designed. This blending is definitely on Obama's socialist-leaning agenda.

Those things aside, our military has been conducting drills to deal with social unrest. We posted a news item on Unified Quest 2011 late last year. This is a year-long war games series that look at a variety of concerns and how to deal with them, including:

Clearly, the U.S. government is making contingency plans to deal with a worst-case, all-out-collapse scenario of not only the economy, but our social and political systems.

The war gaming, according to reports, began in 2008 at the onset of the economic crisis. Planners aren't just from not just the US, but around the globe, may have been aware of the dire possibility of economic collapse even earlier.

This push toward military involvement in civilian control didn't originate with Obama, but came into full force under the George W. Bush with the "John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007". So while much of the information below is correct we may not agree with the initial premise. However, IF we have an ugly spring-summer weather-wise, it could have a devastating impact on our food supply. Food prices are already soaring globally, primarily due to weather-related issues and another slam on reserves could make availability rather grim and very,
very expensive.
